Distance continuous education :Along with the traditional correspondence form of education the Academy actively uses the newest methodics of distance continuous education. Distance education or separated education is one of the modern progressive forms of open professional self-education without separation of the basic activity. It fully meets the requirements of time, and grateful to it appeared a real opportunity to teach those, who are not able to study in the traditional correspondence form of training.
The system of distant self-preparation has principal differences from internal and correspondence forms. First of all, students of academy are free from sitting behind the desk, and don't have strictly regulated terms of prolonged sessions and educational gatherings. The main advantage is the principle of individual approach to the each student, considering the level of his knowledge, conditions of his work and household activities. It provides the maximal productivity of self-preparation that is the basis of the distance education.
OEAEP uses informational-satellite telecommunicational education technology, that allows to give knowledge and proffesional experience to the student in short period of time. The basis of informatic-satellite technology is put the module principle, which presuppose the division of the studying subject on logically closed patterns, that are called modules.
The list of academic subject for each module includes:
- scanning of a lecture (as a slide lecture or film);
- individual computer training;
- collective training;
- proffessional laboratory period;
- the work with texts in two-level TV-communicational base. ;
- monitoring of home tasks;
- algorithmical studying of skills;
- listening of audiolectures;
- studying of work book;
- glossary training;
- module testing.
Perpetual monitoring of quality of studying knowledge by the students is realized with the help of electronic testing system.
In the educational process students get practical and methodical help from the teacher's stuff of the Academy according to the individual schedule that is convenient for each one. More than that, such consultations can be got not only in the Academy, but also on the phone. It is getting easier to plan and control the preparation of students. This form of education assumes two sessions per year with a six months interval, during this period students continue independent studying. During those six months students have got an opportunity to visit the consultations with the teachers.
According the results of session students can be transferred to the next course of education.
The curriculum provides:
- performance of tests;
- passing of semester and state exams;
- performance of academic year projects;
- performance of diploma project.
It exists an opportunity of studying individually, having an academic holiday, and transferring to another University.
